"I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing"

John 15:5

In Bruce Wilkinson's book, Secrets of the Vine, he refers to a broken and ailing branch in a vineyard being tenderly cared for by a father. Carefully he picks up the branch, washes off the mud and ties it back up to the trellis.

This beautiful symbolism reveals the true nature of God, how he so lovingly cares for his children, how he picks them up when they are hurting, and embraces them with his tender love.

This love is what drives our charity, for we love from that place of first love.

From numerous, what we like to call "Divine Appointments" a small group of business colleagues, family and friends birthed an initiative where they could help their fellow man with basic provisioning items and other charitable donations acting as the hands and feet of God as He cares for his children and so our non-profit organization was born.

Since the onset of national lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic, The Gift of Giving, has gone from strength to strength in accruing food stocks, clothing and other necessities, and distributing it to an ever-growing network of families in need in the greater Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area in South Africa.

As the branches connected to the vine, we abide in Him through whom every good and perfect gift is received.

Our aim is to uplift those around us in need with dignity so that they may truly feel the Father's love and reap in abundance his rewards for their life.
